Understanding the dynamics of emotional response
During this half-day workshop, one of our crisis management consultants will work with you to support you in developing an understanding of a range of emotional responses to major incidents, both how the emotional response informs and changes perceptions and decision makings during the incident itself, along with its long-term impacts and the effects of stress. You do not have to be a Hazmat conference attendee to attend this workshop.
This workshop will help you in:
- Learning to recognise and identify stress overload
- Applying stress management techniques during crisis situations
- Managing the impact of stress on mental health
- Relating the learning outcomes to the observations made during the exercise delivery
The session will run from 1pm to 5pm and lunch will be provided from 12pm-1pm. The workshop is limited to 20 delegates only and will be allocated on first come first serve basis.
