This guidance considers how ADMS outputs are presented in Air Quality Impacts Assessments, submitted in support of planning applications for industrial/agricultural developments, and provides advice on how model results should be interpreted. The guidance includes the analysis of an example AQIA. This will enable air quality professionals to better understand the modelling of point and area source emissions, such as energy-from-waste plant and landfills, commonly submitted in support of planning applications, and be better prepared to review them.
